Owing to the initiatve, which belongs to “YSU Graduate Union”, Alma Mater received a really unique present that is the anthem. The composer is Robert Amirkhanyan. The words are by poet Hovik Hoveyan. It is somehow symbolic for each HEI to have its own anthem. Hovik Hoveyan has compared Alma Mater with the glorious way, passed by our country and great figures, which have once created our statehood. And Robert Amirkhanyan’s music makes the Alma Mater anthem more impressive and sonorous.
