The project provides the young universitarians with housing, corresponding to the elite buildings requirements. At the same time the price is two times lower than the market prices. The presentation of the project "Support to the Young Universitarians' Apartment-building" was organized on the 1st of February 2008 at YSU Central building Main Hall.
Head of Board of Trustees of "YSU Graduate Union" NGO, RA Prime Minister Serzh Sargsyan, YSU Rector Aram Simonyan, President of Union Arsen Karamyan, representatives of "Glendale Hills" CJSC, which is going to realize the construction were present at the meeting, as well as YSU employees. The project, which is under the patronage of Serzh Sargsyan, first of all is called to solve the housing issue of the young scientists and lecturers of YSU.
"Our main goal is to provide YSU Professorial staff with convenient social conditions, for them to be able to bring up a good generation. I guess this project must serve as an example for other institutions, too", - said Serzh Sargsyan.
This building will be built at the territory next to Tsarav Aghbyur 55a, Avan community, Yerevan next to Botanic Garden. Unlike the market prices of Yerevan, the equivalent of 900-1300 USD in drams for one square meter, here one square meter costs 170.000 drams. 10 storied building, foreseen for 261 stake holders, consists of four sub buildings, 6 entrances.
The apartments available are: double room (52.2, 53.6, 53.8, 56.2 square meters), three room (74.1, 91.7, 93.6, 94.6, 96.9, 107.7, 112.6, 119.1 square meters) and four room (120.7, 145, 155.7 square meters), located at 9 residential floors of the building. Five flats are on each floor. First floor is planned for shops, offices and social care services.
The underground parking is provided for almost 170 vehicles, equipped with all the necessary security accessories. And as the parking territory is limited, first of all people, who have registered automobiles (no liquid gas required) in the name of one of the spouses, will be given advantage. Afterwards, the other places will be distributed among the other stake holders.
The building will be equipped with all the necessary conveniences: two elevators (freight and passenger), high class interior, wooden parquet, wooden doors, euro windows with wooden facture, tile heated floor, bathroom and kitchen. The street door is metallic. Each apartment is equipped with heating and cooling systems, which will provide with possibility for the setting of heating boilers and air conditioners. In the neighborhood of the complex greenbelt and playgrounds for the children are expected, too.
